Casual is rarely my cup of tea. However, I have to admit that one must feel comfortable at home or at work. So, although it's sunny outside, there's a harsh chilly wind that makes me want to slip on an oversized cozy sweater and pair it with light camel leggings and some Lara Croft-like flat brown boots. You know, sometimes I just feel like keepin' it simple - and it still looks cool!

Raramente opto por looks mais básicos ou casuais. Porém, tenho que admitir que há-que primar pelo conforto uma vez em casa ou no trabalho. Apesar de estar um dia solarengo, sopra um vento agreste e frio que me faz apetecer enfiar-me numa camisola larga e aconchegante e conjugá-la com leggings em tons camel e botas castanhas à la Lara Croft. Pois é, às vezes gosto de primar pela simplicidade - fica-se cool na mesma!

It's been cold outside (not even comparable to the real cold felt in Northern Europe though), hence the absence of posting daily outfits. Because of this temperature, I always feel terribly lazy to put on fancy clothes; honestly, sometimes I just feel like wrapping myself in a blanket-like wooly giant jumper and  legwarmers. Anyway, I'm very happy that I'm wearing my pooch brooch! It is a lovely gift from my grandfather and it looks adorable in almost every piece of clothing I own. I guess I just developed a new obsession over pins and brooches...! Be afraid.

Tem estado frio lá fora (embora nada comparável ao verdadeiro frio sentido no Norte da Europa), daí a ausência de posts com a vestimenta diária. Por causa da temperatura baixa, sinto-me sempre terrivelmente preguiçosa para me pôr a vestir roupa bonita; sinceramente só me apetece embrulhar-me numa camisola de lã gigantesca que se assemelhe a um cobertor e enfiar perneiras. De qualquer das formas, estou muito contente por estar a usar o meu pin do cãozinho! Foi uma adorável prenda oferecida pelo meu avô e fica bem espetada em quase todas as minhas peças de roupa. Cheira-me que despoleta em mim uma nova obsessão por pins e pregadeiras...! Medo.

Welcome Winter!

Everytime I post seasonal photoshooting, there is a slight delay. I should have posted this in December and add a Christmassy feeling to the whole concept but now it's too late for that so I just sticked to the cold hues of chilly January. Harsh, dry and freezy. However, compared to Northern European weather, our Winter is more like Spring! As you can see, the flowers are already blossoming! The climate is really freaking out for good.
I must admit I was inspired by Tim Burton in that afternoon, hence my doll-like apparel, Claudia's modern Ice Queen-like style and the dead trees under a cloudy, gray sky.

Sempre que faço um post sazonal, acaba por sair sempre atrasado. Eu devia ter feito logo isto em Dezembro, aproveitava e adicionava um feeling natalício ao conceito mas agora é tarde demais portanto fiquei-me pelos tons frios de um Janeiro gelado. Frio áspero, seco e cortante. Porém, comparado com o clima Norte-Europeu, por exemplo, o nosso Inverno mais parece Primavera! Como podem ver, as amendoeiras até já estão em flor prematuramente! O clima está totalmente doido.
Confesso que me deixei inspirar pelo Tim Burton nessa tarde, daí a minha indumentária abonecada, o estilo de Ice Queen versão moderna da Cláudia e as árvores mortas debaixo de um céu nublado e cinzento.

Who said wearing brown is boring? I find quite challenging actually, considering you can go from caramel to taupe and still be eclectic. You can either achieve a retro feel, a countryside vibe or a sober classy timeless basic look. Anyway, today was a tedious, cold, cloudy day, but I'm glad I updated my Lookbook!

Those knee high socks are ultra-lovely, I find them adorably cute and warm. After all, comfortable clothing can also be enjoyable and fun.

Quem disse que o castanho é aborrecido? Eu até acho um desafio entrar numa gama de cor que vai desde o caramelo até ao toupeira, sem perder a versatilidade. Podem conseguir um visual bem retro, uma combinação campestre ou um básico clássico intemporal e sóbrio.

Hoje foi um dia entediante, frio e nublado mas finalmente actualizei o Lookbook!

Essas meias pelo joelho são ultra-queridas, acho-as adoráveis, giras e quentinhas.

Ao fim de contas, roupa confortável não tem de ser uma seca!
