Peach Summer Drink

2 peaches; 1/2 cup brown sugar; 1/2 cup vanilla sugar; 2 cups water; 1 cup ice cubes;
a tiny bit of frozen ground ginger; 1/2 cup lemon juice.

Blend all the ingredients until smooth and liquid.

Utterly delicious and oh so refreshing! One of the best impromptu Summer drinks that ever crossed my mind.

2 pêssegos (ou alperces); 1/2 chávena de açúcar amarelo; 1/2 chávena de açúcar baunilhado; 2 copos de água;

  11. How terrifically tasty sounding! The region of British Columbia where I live is famous for its peaches - we grow more here than anywhere else in Canada, and I grew up with more peaches than you could ever eat in a thousand years surrounding me each summer. As such, to this day, this juicy, sun-kisses fruit has an especially dear spot in my heart - and I always look forward to the first bite of a locally grown peach each summer - all the better if I've plucked it from a tree myself! :)

    *PS* Thank you very much for your terrific blog comment on my 1980s post. I have long adorned the New Romantic look myself as well - it was such a fundamental part of the fashion scene during that decade.
