Morning in Monsanto

I am not a morning person but this particular morning was worth the early start. Lisbon's lungs at its best on a cloudy day! I have to thank Pedro and Mafalda for putting up with my obsession with green areas and walking in the woods - it's the ultimate relaxation method.

Alternative 80's Party at Club Noir

Me and Cláudia had a great time at this darkwave alternative 80's party that took place in Club Noir. Catching up with our mutual friend Sónia, drinking, dancing and laughing at ourselves under the strobe lights, enjoying The Sisters of Mercy, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Joy Division, The Cure, The Chamaleons, Siouxsie And The Banshees, The Cult, Duran Duran, The Psychadelic Furs, New Order, Echo & The Bunnymen, and so on.

Eu e a Cláudia comparecemos à festa Alternative 80's, no Club Noir, na companhia da Sónia, com quem já não saíamos há algum tempo, e fomos dançar, beber e rir de nós próprias debaixo de um manto de luz negra que se adensava ao som de Sisters of Mercy, The Jesus and Marcy Chain, Joy Division, The Cure, The Chamaleons, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cult, Duran Duran, The Psychadelic Furs, New Order, Echo & The Bynnymen, e muito mais.

Jardim Bordallo Pinheiro

If you happen to visit Museu da Cidade in Lisbon, give yourself some time to explore the surroundings and you will find a wonderful, whimsical garden, full of surprises, such as hungry peacocks, surreal sculptures, old street lamps, an abandoned greenhouse and exotic trees. There are interesting elements that combine fantasy with nature all over the area.  I think Tim Burton would find this garden quite inspiring!

Se visitarem o Museu da Cidade, tirem um tempo extra para explorar as redondezas e vão encontrar um jardim interessante e maravilhosamente mágico, cheio de surpresas, tais como pavões glutões, esculturas surreais, candeeiros de rua antigos, uma estufa abandonada e árvores exóticas e imponentes. Encontrarão elementos que conjugam fantasia com natureza por toda a área. Algo me diz que o Tim Burton levaria alguma inspiração deste jardim.
