I've won a pair of Docs upon entering a competition, so I guess luck was on my side this time! Naturally, I felt like sharing this video (no one made me do it and no, I didn't have to!), not only because these boots have a major role in my concept of style but also they have been part of my life since I was 13 or so. I have a history with Dr. Martens, a love story actually. From skinheads to hooligans, from iconic punk rock stars to working class rude boys... Should I just start singing These boots are made for walking?

South African rap-rave group Die Antwoord have released the official music video for the track “Cookie Thumper.” Directed by Ninja, the video centers around Yo-Landi Vi$$er’s character who has a crush on a gangster recently released from prison. The track comes off of Die Antwoord’s upcoming album Donker Mag set to be released in February 2014.
The duo will be going on the European Blonde All Over tour and will also start filming their first feature film with director Neill Blomkamp - they'll be playing themselves in the sci-fi comedy, "Chappie". I can't wait!

Lowe plays the sexy girl next door, trying to get attention from her neighbour, a very handsome lad who is played by Jacques Naude.

David Bowie is back! At 66 years old, the man still manages to shock the masses. Directed by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Floria Sigismondi, Bowie's latest controversial video for "The Next Day" features Gary Oldman and the gorgeous Marion Cotillard, starring as the priest and the prostitute. Bowie himself is depicted as Christ. Stunning visuals, blood, controversy... Not bad for a church brothel!

Dirigido pela aclamada fotógrafa e realizadora Floria Sigismondi, este último vídeo de Bowie para o tema "The Next Day" conta com a participação de Gary Oldman e a fantástica Marion Cotillard, nos papéis de padre e prostituta. Os Yeah Yeah Yeahs nunca me deixam de me surpreender pela positiva e eu já tinha saudades da voz selvagem da Karen O... Quatro anos depois, ei-la, pronta para arrasar - e loira!
Eu achei o vídeo visualmente épico, genial e absolutamente brilhante! Algo me diz que o David Lynch iria aprovar.

Imagine a noir-ish take on Belle de Jour, in the decadent streets of Paris by night, with Isabeli Fontana, Cara Delevingne, Magdalena Frackowiak and Saskia de Brauw, directed by James Lima.
I like the femme fatale, heroin chic, somewhat kinderwhore feel. What I find fascinating about this video is its urban, provocative atmosphere... but the collection itself is even better!

Belle de Jour versão film noir, com uma dose qb de decadência nocturna parisiense, protaganizado por Isabeli Fontana, Cara Delevingne, Magdalena Frackowiak e Saskia de Brauw, dirigidas por James Lima.

Gostei da essência meio femme fatale, meio heroin chic, com um quê de kinderwhore. Mas, muito mais que este vídeo na sua atmosfera urbana e provocadora, adorei mesmo foi a colecção em si!

For the latest A/W 2011 Willems Wonderglasses collection, German photographer Monica Menez directed fashion film ‘Precious’ where modern girlfriend is baking a pizza in a very ‘sexy’ way. Beautiful shot with great framing, lighting and styling. 

After watching this, I immediately googled the gorgeously sultry "Katherin Heck" and even added her on Facebook, and I wonder why is she not a proper celebrity yet. I loved this video, stunningly directed, and also fancy her glasses, if I didn't wear contact lenses, I would probably wear them. Pizza lovers, you better watch this! Are you ready?

Para a última colecção Outono/Inverno 2011 da Willems Wonderglasses, a fotógrafa alemã Monica Menez dirigiu este vídeo, Precious, onde uma namorada ou amante moderna está a cozinhar uma pizza de uma maneira, digamos... sugestiva. Belíssima captura, luz, composição, enquadramentos e styling.

Depois de visionar isto, googlei imediatamente "Katherin Heck", a modelo libidinosa e dedicada do filmezinho, até a adicionei no Facebook, e pergunto-me porque é que esta mulher ainda não se tornou uma celebridade à séria. Adorei o vídeo, e quanto aos óculos, se eu não usasse lentes de contacto, optaria por usar uns deste género. Amantes de pizza, é bom que vejam isto! Preparados?
