Snupped
Cardigan: Primark | Dress: ModCloth | Tights: Calzedonia | Laptop Case: Snupped
This adorable laptop case is from Snupped. You can actually customize it - feel free to pick a pattern, choose the colours and, of course, let them know which laptop model you own, and they will create this handmade, personalized case. Considering the fact that I'm the clumsiest girl ever, this case came in handy, preventing my darling (and slightly heavy) laptop to get smashed, when I stuffed it forcefully into my backpack. How convenient.
There are so many pretty and quirky prints that it was quite hard to pick a favourite... Instead of bananas, I went for the classic baroque blue and white. I don't think I would even take myself serious if I had a banana print laptop case. Oh well.

♥ Sunday Best ♥ #28
Jamie Hince and Kate Moss as Gomez and Morticia Addams. Don't they look awesome?
Dreams come true: NARS x Guy Bourdin Color Collection for Holiday 2013 - bold, vivid colours with a hint of 70's/80's neon and glossy hues!
I love Cosette's outfit and everything else about her.
Breaking Bad-inspired brooches? You have to be kidding me!
Here's a snap taken from Mel's iPhone. She's wearing MAC Flat Out Fabulous and I picked MAC Candy Yum Yum.
So, yes, we were the MAC Mob once in Barcelona.

This Portuguese tune is brilliantly nonsense and absolutely catchy!
Lest we forget.
Meanwhile, in Czech Republic...

A matter of lighting
I've always had a thing for lamps and lights. I wanted to pimp personalize my bedroom so I bought an owl-shaped decorative source of light and an incandescent touch-sensitive lamp. Believe it or not, lighting can affect your mood. I wonder how can you possibly feel comfortable under a cold, blue-ish kitchen LED... There is no warmth in it, you know what I mean?

Dinner at Mullens
Yesterday evening I had dinner in Mullens with Cláudia and her boyfriend (yes, I know, I'm always the third wheel ahah!). The chicken pesto was literally melting in my mouth, the wine was not too bad and Mozie (aka beef Mozambique) had this juicy flavour with a hint of coffee (?)... Oh, and the chips! Best motherfucking chips in town!
I have this theory about drinking (alcohol) and eating at the same time: if you keep on drinking during a meal, your gradually intoxicated brain will, eventually, stop being able to let you know when you are full, so you can keep on eating: it's a convenient balance between your digestion and your tipsiness.

Baileys and Brownies
Tunic: Vintage | Brooch: ModCloth | Leggings: Primark | Boots: Dr. Martens | Lipstick: MAC Ruby Woo
I was VERY lazy this afternoon but I forced myself to wake up at a reasonable time and go for a walk with Cláudia. Even though the skies are relatively grey by now, it's not really chilly outside. In fact, I had the impression that it's still Summer, only not so torrid.
It didn't take too long to decide what to wear today - it's easier when I'm in a rather neutral mood and tend to go for something practical and comfortable. The chocolate-coloured boots, paired with Baileys-hued leggings, make me look a bit like Lara Croft with an equestrian approach. The bag's floral print softens the outfit and I added that lovely brooch so it looked more playful and less... adult. Classy and whimsy, right? The brown brocade of my tunic has an exquisite texture and I love to wear it with or without leggings. My face looks goofy as usual but oh, well, at least I'm noticing how less tanned I am, day after day, which is quite an achievement.

DAY 3
Jardí Botànic | Passeig de Gràcia | Parc Güell | La Sagrada Família
I rarely have the opportunity to travel since I am working all the fucking time, and only have one day off per week. Autumnesque October brought me holidays and I invited my friend Mel to come with me to Barcelona from the 14th to the 18th (we arrived late and left early so we only had 3 days to make the best out of it). It sounded like a plan! Barcelona is such an awesomely vibrant city! From the exquisite architecture to the seaside warm-toned streets, there are many things not to be missed. Mediterranean waters are way warmer than Atlantic so you can always go to the beach if you're into sea and sand.
The narrow streets are, of course, the prettiest - interesting cafés, shops, antiques and colourful artsy spots.

Barcelona is so much more than Gaudí and nightlife. Well, I didn't actually witness the splendor of the Catalan nightlife because I had to wake up early so I could seize the day and have enough energy to walk a hundred miles - hence, my dark circles.
One thing that I really loved about Barcelona was the fact that it's a bicycle-friendly city and every urban area has cycle circuits; no tormenting ups and downs like in Lisbon. The gardens I've visited are luxurious and whimsical, to say the least. Overall, people are nice and solicitous.
Strolling around the Gothic Quarter was really what fascinated and captivated me the most, with its cobblestones lanes and alleys, reminiscent of a distant, dark past. The smell of tapas and churros is always there to tempt you, and count on something surprising waiting for you around the corner.
This is a city for art lovers, for bohemians, for the open-minded youth... And also for those who can walk for hours and still enjoy it. Meet the locals, go to the morning markets, explore the parks, try interesting activities and more importantly, don't wear high heels. There are many splendid things to see around you and you will only get there if you wear comfortable shoes, trust me.
