♥ Sunday Best ♥ #44

Ellen Page's coming out speech is so moving.

Ever heard of Edward Mordake? He suffered from a form of Diprosopus, meaning he had an extra face on the back of his head, which was able to laugh and cry. How creepy! Edward begged doctors to remove his "demon face", claiming that it whispered to him at night (!), but no one would attempt the removal. Edward committed suicide at a very young age, leaving a letter requesting the destruction of the "demon face" before his burial, "lest it continues its dreadful whisperings in my grave.".

Located in Pennsylvania, The Birdhouse might just be the perfect abode.

How can one not love Sóley?

This glittery, shimmering shadow was featured in Thakoon FW 2013 fashion show. The MUA who did this little work of art was Diane Kendal.

Jared Leto is remarkable in Dallas Buyers Club, as HIV-positive Rayon, a junkie tranny who nearly brought tears to my eyes.

This hoodie is the cutest thing ever!

  10. Eu acho que fui a única pessoa que ficou surpresa da Ellen Page se assumir gay hahaha, todo mundo já desconfiava. Achei lindo o discurso dela, emocionante. Também adorei os cartões de valentine's day e a maquiagem com glitter.

  11. Really excellent finds. Those vintage valentines cards are just so awesome and creepy at the same time. I haven't yet watched Dallas Buyers Club, but it is definitely on my must-watch movie list. Azzam's interpretation of Klimt's kiss is incredible. Mordake is intriguing - I wonder if he suffered from a mental disorder as well which made him think his "demon face" talked to him? But it could cry and laugh? When he cried and laugh or independently of him? watched ellen page's speech and i agree it was very moving. i am glad she was able to have the courage to be herself, although no one should "have" to have courage to be themselves. we should all feel secure enough to just simply live as who we are from day one. hopefully the world will one day let us.
