Pluviophilia

Close your eyes and stride outside. Take a puff of petrichor, inhale the humidity and fondle the flood. Savour the sky's symphony. I keep on whining about soggy socks and how my clothes are ruined by an everlasting wet dog reek but there is nothing as comforting and soothing as the sound of endless raindrops caressing the window sill. If only some weather conditions could be classified as cosy...

    I love it when it rains, even if I have to go outside! It just puts me in a weirdly good mood haha (unless I have picnic or beach plans).

    There is no sound quite so soothing and romantic as rainfall on windows. And is there anything prettier than the sheets of gems they leave on the glass? (Having said that, Manchester is so full of rain still that Summer seems like a myth, and I'm itching to get outside, press bare feet into the grass and watch butterflies stitch between the leaves....)
