Daisy Fields Forever

Trench Coat: Sammydress | Satchel: vintage | Blouse: vintage | Skirt: eBay | Tights: H&M | Saddle Shoes: eBay

I'm not sure if this outfit and photos were ruined or blessed by the wind. I am slowly getting used to Spring and its mood swings. I've also been trying to get back to reality aka everyday life. After my so well-deserved holidays, I still don't feel ready for routine to kick in. Not to mention I miss Ireland terribly and can't wait to go back. My days at work are getting busier (I blame Easter!) and I hardly have time for myself. I guess that's the price I have to pay so I can afford going somewhere else. All the money I've earned with my own sweat is the living proof of how sacrifice pays (well, crime would pay more, obviously). At least, in this case. I am proud of not depending on my parents when it comes to save and spend - that's probably my biggest achievement. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it is to me. I've been working hard for years so I could have my financial independence and it feels good when it finally comes the time for a little reward.
Now, back to the outfit. Saddle shoes, floral tights, ponytail - isn't this an in-your-face Springtime look? Oh, and daisies. Of course. As if one could ever imagine Spring without daisies...

E estás adorável, como sempre. Ah, e deste-me uma vontade enorme de tirar a minha trench coat do armário, yas <3

I agree with you on everything you said in regards to working extra hours this past week and how wholesome the reward is. Wish you the best this holiday season, in however way you choice to celebrate it.

  8. You look darling, love this look. And the shoes are precious, I used to wear a pair when I was like 7 or something. I loved them. I know how it can feel after holidays, but try not to let it get you. All will be grand again. Have a marvellous weekend xx

  9. Love everything about this look and the wind totally compliments the photos!! I agree so much about the financial independence, I want to earn and save my own money, to be able to do things and live on my own since my parents can't afford to give me any (and I wouldn't feel good taking money from my parents at 24 anyway), but finding a job is so hard here.. Or at least a job that pays enough to live on your own. Both me and most of my friends are in a kind of deadend because you can't do anything without money and we can't find a job to change that. I think there are unemployment issues in Portugal too, so you understand they whole situation. I work on an internship and the money will be very small but since I'm living with my parents for a while I can afford to save most of it and that's something for me.

  14. Exactly... My sister works 8-12 hours and gets paid 500-800 euro and works 5-7 days a week, and she needs this money for studies. I could live on my own with 600euro but less than that no way.. I want to go abroad but I'm still thinking how it can be done without a big save for the first months, because I probably won't be able to save that much. And then there are people you know that act like parents are supposed to provide you with money until 30, saying that it's impossible to take a job with less than 1000euro degrading everyone else's efforts.. Anyway, I feel better whenever I see people in the same position, it keeps me motivated to chase for something better..!
